Dedicated to providing high-quality rental opportunities, specializing in traditional long-term rentals within the western corridor of the Carolinas and short-term vacation rentals in premier destinations, both domestic and international. Our targeted geographies include the Carolinas, Colorado, California and Costa Rica.
Focused on acquiring, renovating and selling single-family properties in the our Carolina locales. More specifically, we are looking throughout the metro-Charlotte area for homes that can be acquired at an attractive price, updated and refurbished, and sold or leased upon project completion.
The multi-family development arm situated throughout western North and South Carolina with an emphasis on strategic rural investment as well as urban renewal. Our goal is to formally launch this business unit by early 2027.
Looking ahead, aspirational ventures under the GFT umbrella will encompass innovative property types, including ‘tiny home’ communities in western North Carolina, repurposed commercial buildings for collaborative coworking spaces, and environmentally responsible storage facilities designed to minimize their impact.
Day-to-day operations are led by Jeremy Nicholas. After spending 15+ years in various high-level positions throughout the banking industry, Jeremy decided to relocate, move his family back to his home state of North Carolina and pursue his real estate investment interests. An affinity for real estate – specifically single and multi-family residential properties – and the value it brings to families, communities, and investors alike, motivated him to exit the banking industry and start his own real estate company.
This passion developed after spending years facilitating the financing needs of his real estate clients and studying the intricacies of their businesses and the variety of assets these companies contained. Experiencing their successes firsthand and witnessing how real estate investment and development can positively affect lives and communities was the impetus for his career shift.
Jeremy’s previous experience in banking includes Senior Vice President positions at Bank of Colorado, Western States Bank and Colorado Business Bank after nine years at First Western Trust held in numerous positions ranging from Private Banker to Market President. All of his years in banking were accumulated while residing in Denver, CO from 2006 to 2024.
The vision for GFT entities is to grow a sustainable family business grounded in principled real estate investment and other businesses accretive to that core ideal. The company’s capital base has been initially funded through investments from friends and family and will expand to include outside offerings as it pursues additional funding and equity diversification.
